Delete your Insider Stock Trader account
You can permanently delete your Insider Stock Trader account and the personal data associated with it at any time, free of charge. Choose one of the two options below.
Option 1: Delete in the app (immediate)
- Open the Insider Stock Trader app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap Settings (the gear icon in the top-right corner of the feed).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation, then tap Delete.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. If you can't reach Settings because you don't have an active subscription, open the ⋮ menu on the subscription screen and choose Delete account.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app or can't sign in:
- Write to contact@callisto.ventures with the subject "Delete my account".
- Send it from the email address of your account (for a Google sign-in, your Google account's email address), so we can confirm the request is yours.
- We confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner, and email you when it's done.
We will never ask for your password. If we can't match the request to an account, we will reply and ask for clarification.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity (email address and user ID)
- Your profile and preferences, including onboarding answers, quiet hours and digest time
- Your watchlist
- Your alert settings and your alert and notification history
- The push-notification registrations of your devices
- The subscription event records we hold about you
- Your customer record at RevenueCat, our subscription management provider
What is kept, and for how long
- Google Play purchase records. Google keeps its own records of your purchases under Google's privacy policy. We cannot delete them.
- Diagnostic data. Crash reports and, if you allowed analytics, usage statistics are held by Google Firebase without being linked to your account. Firebase deletes them automatically under its retention periods (up to 90 days for crash reports and up to 14 months for analytics).
- Backups. Deleted data may remain in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days before those backups expire.
- Legal obligations. We keep information only where the law requires it, for example records we must keep for tax purposes.
Public SEC filings shown in the app are public records, are not your personal data and are not affected.
Important: your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. To stop future charges, cancel first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Insider Stock Trader → Cancel subscription. Deletion is permanent: if you sign up again later, you start with a new, empty account.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can remove companies from your watchlist and change or turn off alerts at any time in the app. To ask us to delete other specific data while keeping your account, email contact@callisto.ventures.
